#3 Ray Lewis (Madden 05)

Football News

Even legends of the game can't escape the curse.

Ray Lewis was at the height of his career, the Baltimore Ravens linebacker was constantly posting great numbers, and never seemed to miss a game.

But his 2004 season was one to forget, for the first time in his career, the illustrious defender failed to make any interceptions. Furthermore, the Ravens failed to reach the play-offs for the first time in four years.

To top it off Lewis sat out the final game of the season due to injury. His luck didn't improve for some time - in 2005 he played a career low three games.
