We start with Tiger Woods and his road to recovery after undergoing back surgery.
The world number one posted a lengthy blog on his official site yesterday, stating that he simply didn’t know when he would be back, and that it’s a “very slow process”.
After missing The Masters, Woods looks likely to miss out on the second major of the year - the US Open at Pinehurst next month.
And Woods’ injury means he won’t be able to defend his Players Championship title this week.
Whilst JB Holmes became the latest player to book his place at TPC Sawgrass thanks to a victory at the Wells Fargo Championship.
Holmes finished at 14 under, a stroke clear of Jim Furyk, to claim his first victory in six years.
Felipe Aguilar is another who secured his first win since 2008, after a remarkable end to The Championship at Laguna National.
The Chilean carded 28 on the back nine, which included a birdie at 17 and eagle at the 18th to edge out David Lipsky and Anders Hansen.
Across the LPGA where Stacy Lewis finally returned to winner’s circle.
Winless since last year’s British Open, Lewis had six second place finishes in her previous 16 appearances, but she blew away the field at the North Texas LPGA Shootout.
Six birdies and an eagle, helped the American finish 16 under par - six strokes better off than second placed Meena Lee - and pick up the win.
And finally we bring you news of wedding bells after Miguel Angel Jimenez tied the knot with partner Susanne Styblo.
The pair exchanged vows in Torremolinos in Jimenez’s native Spain, and comes two weeks after he won on his Champions Tour debut.
