Manchester United fansite Red Mancunian has posted pictures of what are rumoured to be the club's new shirts for the 2014/15 season.

The home shirt - which can be seen in the picture above - appears a fairly simple design, with a black and white pattern around the neckline.

By contrast, the away effort - which can be seen here - is also rather basic, all white with a black collar.

Both shirts feature the name of Chevrolet emblazoned upon the front, with the American car manufacturer set to become Manchester United's new sponsor after their current deal with Aon expires at the end of the current campaign.

The shirts both appear to have been manufactured by Nike, with the next season possibly the sportswear giant's last at Old Trafford with Manchester United rumoured to be in talks over a potential world-record deal with rivals Adidas.

Manchester United fans - what do you make of these shirts? Do you think they are real or just another poor mock-up?
