LeBron James was mic'd during last night's Easter Conference semifinal Game 1 match-up against the Brooklyn Nets, and the results were quite interesting.
Such situations in which elite athletes are recorded during huge contests provide a unique opportunity for fans to see how their stars deal with big moments.
Basketball stars, unlike others stars from other major sports, are not known for their seriousness throughout games, and James shows his funny side during the clip above.
This includes jokingly saying he is glad to see a certain referee, and the clip of him talking about team-mate Ray Allen.
James says, "Every since I seen He Got Game I thought he couldn’t do no wrong.”
He then proceeded to high-five Allen and added “Keep going Hey Zeus”
Now Hey Zeus means Jesus in Spanish, with James clearly enamoured to be playing alongside the diminutive legend.
It's well known that Allen has the nickname Jesus Shuttlesworth from the hit movie He Got Game, with Allen certainly turning into somewhat of a cult figure in his twilight seasons in the NBA.
See video above for the mic'd up clip.
