Manchester United and Arsenal are plotting a move for Roma striker Mattia Destro, according to Italian newspaper Sport.ilmessaggero.it.
If reports are to be believed, both clubs could make a move for the forward in the near future. Destro is an Italian international and has had a fine season in the Serie A, having struck 13 goals in 18 league matches.
At just 23-years-old, Destro seemingly has a bright future ahead of him, despite having suffered with a knee problem earlier on in the campaign.
It remains to be seen as to whether the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal step up in their pursuit of the player in the coming weeks, but it appears that both clubs are looking to take him to England's elite division.
Manchester United - still without a permanent manager - have a number of strikers at their disposal, but could further increase competition in that department before the start of next season.
Arsenal, however, will be desperate to improve their front line, with Yaya Sanogo and Nicklas Bendtner their only real back-ups for French hit man Olivier Giroud.
