As the World Cup fast approaches, stars such as Lucas Moura have been found absent from their national squad.

A quality player however, Luiz Felipe Scolari has decided that the youngster does not make the grade as he hopes to have named the squad to win the trophy on home soil.

Currently many countries have still yet to announce those they will be taking to Brazil - England manager Roy Hodgson will announce to press on May 12 who he intends to take with him to where some may call, the football capital of the world.

As we await the news on the squads for the World Cup here is a list of five players, who I believe, are rising stars of the future and, if picked for their national teams may have quite the impact in June.

Those who didn't quite make the list include:

Luke Shaw

Raheem Sterling
