3. Mario Gotze
An established player, Mario Gotze cost Bayern Munich €37 million in 2013. It is hard to believe that someone as young as 21 could cost so much but, ultimately it is a reflection of the player's skill and talent on the football pitch.
The German midfield master has become a first team regular for the Champions, playing 43 games in which he scored 15 goals for the club - a feat similar to what he achieved the previous season at Borussia Dortmund.
It has been no fluke this season for the youngster.
With increased popularity among football fans and managers alike, it is no surprise that his future at Bayern is under media speculation. However, Gotze will solely be looking forward to the World Cup in Brazil where he will aim to make an impact in what will hopefully prove to be a very interesting tournament for the German youngster.
