Cena issues warning to NFL draft hopefuls.

WWE: John Cena sends message to NFL draft hopefuls

WWE Superstar, John Cena knows a lot about being a champion. The wrestler has won the World Championship 11 times and still has plenty left in the tank for more.

With the first round of the NFL draft just a matter of a few hours away, Cena has sent out a message to all potential draftees about the importance of hard work.

Cena tweeted today: "A message 2 Mr. Clowney and all #NFLDraft you have been given a chance Potential without application is disappointment. Work hard stay hungry"

It's not clear why Cena singled out Jadeveon Clowney in the tweet. Maybe it's because he is seen as the probable number one pick, or maybe because questions have been raised during the draft process about his work rate.

Certainly hard work is a required factor in making it big in the NFL. Most of the players who will be selected in the first round tonight have the potential to become elite players in the NFL if they find themselves at good NFL teams and apply themselves in the correct manner.

Houston Texans fans will hope that if they take Clowney at number one, that he will take Cena's words on board.

If that happens, watch out NFL. Clowney can make the Houston Texans a dominant defensive juggernaut.
