Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is looking at Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain stars Mario Mandzukic & Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to The Evening Standard

If reports are to be believed, 'The Special One' is closing in on a deal to bring Atletico striker Diego Costa to the club, and he now looks set to further add to his forward options.

Mandzukic and Lavezzi are two of the leading forward players in world football - and would be some coup for Chelsea, should they sign the pair.

However, it remains to be seen as to whether Chelsea step up their interest in the duo in the near future, as they look towards a successful summer window.

After Manchester City recorded a victory over Aston Villa last night, Chelsea can't now claim any silverware this season, so will be looking to improve ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.

The likes of Mandzukic and Lavezzi would certainly improve Mourinho's options at Chelsea, and Blues fans will be hoping the club can get them on board.

For now though, Chelsea will be looking to end this season on a high as they travel to the Cardiff City Stadium to take on already relegated Cardiff City.
