Pittsburgh Penguins have been struggling for goals during this post-season, but on Wednesday night Evgeni Malkin provided a scorching spin-o-rama goal to inspire them to victory.
Malkin's men won the game 4-2 at Madison Square Garden to build a 3-1 series lead over the Rangers, with the center's goal proving to be the most memorable part of the game.
The puck broke free during the early part of the first period with the scores still tied at zero, and Malkin was alert to the puck, which was heading behind him.
Undeterred, he adjusted his body and met the puck with a rifle flick of his stick that proved too much for Rangers' goalie Henrik Lundqvist to handle.
