It's official, the Houston Texans will not trade the first overall NFL Draft pick. Or at least that's what NFL Insider Adam Schefter believes.
As we edge closer to the draft, which begins at 8pm ET, rumors are circling around practically every topic you can think about.
But it's understood that the one thing we can bank on tonight is the Texans keeping their pick and selecting who they like.
"Houston is now locked in on its player and is not expecting a trade, per sources. Texans happy to sit at 1 and take player it wants," tweeted Schefter.
Now that Schefter has given us all the heads up, our thoughts turn to who the Texans will select with their pick.
It's expected that Jadeveon Clowney will be the player that they decided to bring on board, with the former South Carolina defensive end ready to take the NFL by storm.
In the past few months we have heard other names that could be taken by Houston as well, such as Johnny Manziel and Blake Bortles.
However, it's thought that the Texans are now simply not willing to pass up the opportunity to have the dominate Clowney on board.
