All the anticipation, all the excitement and we finally have a conclusion, the overall number one pick in the 2014 NFL draft is Jadeveon Clowney

The Houston Texans kept hold of the overall number one pick, suggestions they may make a late trade with a couple of franchises interested but it didn't happen and they selected Clowney number one overall.

Many believed the Ex-South Carolina Gaemcock to be the first overall selection and the enormous talent and potential was enough to entice the Texans in to giving the pass rusher his dream of being the number one pick.

Clowney expected the Texans wouldn't pass on him and I guess he was right as he now looks set to be let loose in Houston.
