The Miami Heat have taken a 2-0 series lead against the Brooklyn Nets after solid 94-82 win in South Beach.
The Heat are now 6-0 in the post-season having swept the Charlotte Bobcats in the opening round of the competition before winning their first two home games of round two against the Brooklyn Nets.
An important statistic which will make Brooklyn fans shudder is the fact that the 'Big Three' in Miami have never lost a playoff series together after leading 2-0.
In the 94-82 win, LeBron James lead all scorers in the contest with 22 points whilst Chris Bosh also added 18 points in the victory.
The worrying signs for the Nets so far is the disappointing play of point guard Deron Williams and emotional leader Kevin Garnet.
Williams languished offensively and went on to miss all nine of his shot attempts, Brooklyn actually held a 46-45 half time lead but a cranked up second half defence from the Heat, coupled with uncharacteristically good rebounding saw Miami pull out the win.
The series now heads to Brooklyn with a big deficit for the home town Nets to overcome.
