Inter Milan are targeted a double swoop for Chelsea forward Fernando Torres and Tottenham winger Erik Lamela according to reports in Italy.
The Italian club are set to be busy this summer after a disappointing campaign, with owner Erick Thohir expected to bankroll some big-name transfers.
They've already sealed a deal for Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, and now it appears as though they're looking to the Premier League to add to their ranks further.
Inter have been linked with a move for Torres for some time, and Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Italian club will firm up their interest in the Chelsea man and also look to take Lamela back to Italy from Tottenham this summer.
Torres' time at Stamford Bridge appears to be coming to an end, with Chelsea heavily linked with a host of forwards ahead of the summer window. The Spaniard has never truly justified the £50 million spent to lure him from Liverpool in 2011, and has been linked with a move back to Atletico Madrid along with Inter.
Lamela meanwhile joined Tottenham from Roma last summer as a deal worth up to €35 million - but the Argentinian has had a disastrous first season in England.
He's made just 10 appearances for Spurs because of injury, which may will cost him a place in Argentina's World Cup squad.
Despite that, Tottenham are unlikely to cut their losses on their record transfer after just one season, having blocked attempts to take him on loan in January.
One stumbling block in Inter's move for Torres could be the fee that Chelsea demand. One possible workaround that has been mooted is a loan with the option of making the move permanent in 2015.
