Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has urged UEFA to come down hard on clubs such as Manchester City and PSG for breaching the Financial Fair Play Regulations.
UEFA have confirmed that a total of nine clubs are under investigation for potentially not meeting the requirements under the Financial Fair Play Regulations and that if they are found guilty, they will be sanctioned by the UEFA.
The Financial Fair Play regulations were put into place by organisations such as UEFA, the Premier League, as well as the Championship more recently, mainly to govern the game.
Wenger has emphasised the importance of the regulations and insists that UEFA have to come down hard on clubs that breach those regulations, so that these regulations will be respected in the future.
"I want to see that respected, if that is not respected, then the financial fair play will have problems to be respected in the future because everyone will just not consider it at all. If it is not respected, of course we will feel let down," the Frenchman added.
