Laurent Koscielny has committed his long term future to Arsenal after signing a new contract with the club.
The central defender signed for the north London outfit four years ago from French side Lorient. And, after helping the Gunners secure a Champions League spot and reach the FA Cup final this term, the he is happy to stay at the Emirates Stadium.
"I am very proud to have reached agreement with the club on a new contract," said Koscielny.
"I have enjoyed four great years at Arsenal already, and I look forward to continuing to help the team in the years to come."
The France international has been part of a successful defensive partnership with German giant Per Mertesacker, which has seen the club keep 15 clean sheets in Koscielny's 31 league games.
"Laurent has proven himself to be an outstanding player since joining us in 2010 and has showed his quality once again this season," added Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
"I am delighted he has decided to commit his future to the club."
After the FA Cup final, Koscielny will hope to be in the French national team that will go to the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
