Hello and welcome to the GiveMeSport – Social Report. Where we have a look at the weekend’s social media best bits!

We start with Manchester City the new Premier League Champions! As you could have imagined there were many player selfies with the trophy. But I have to give a shout out to Man City’s social media team, as they did a brilliant job on the day, giving fans behind the scenes access to the changing room after the game and the club have also put a social media campaign together that asks fans to upload their videos on ‘How it feels to be City’.

Now the season is finished we are all looking forward to the World Cup and who is going to be in the final 23 man squad! Well Ashley Cole took to twitter on Sunday night to confirm he won’t be in the World Cup squad and bowed out graciously to the players taking his place.

Another England player looking to miss the cut is Andy Carroll having posted this picture of him and his girlfriend with the caption “Dubai Bound”.

Aston Villa fans haven’t really had much to celebrate this season so on the final day against Tottenham at White Hart Lane, some fans decided to dress up as Traffic cones to stop cars from driving outside the ground.

That's all for this week, send us in your social media best bits and we’ll pick the best ones for next’s weeks show.
