Andrew Wiggins has decided to skip the NBA Draft combine in Chicago along with fellow top prospects Joel Embiid and Jabari Parker, according to ESPN.

The Kansas Jayhawks forward is expected to go in the top three in the NBA Draft this summer, with some mock drafts pegging him at number one.

Fellow Jayhawk Embiid has been suffering with a back injury picked up in the NCAA tournament in March, and he has also decided to skip the combine.

Duke forward Jabari Parker will also not attend this week's event, but Kentucky star Julius Randle and Australian point guard prospect Dante Exum should be there. Both are expected to go in the top 10.

The combine takes place on Thursday and Friday in Chicago, with Creighton's Doug McDermott also expected to take his place at the event.

The draft, which this year takes place on June 26th, is the annual opportunity for the NBA teams to take their pick of the best young college basketball players.

Last year the Cleveland Cavaliers selected Anthony Bennett of UNLV with the first overall pick of the draft, but he endured a miserable rookie season.

This year's draft is expected to be one of the deepest in a decade, with Wiggins, Embiid and Parker all potential number one selections.
