Miami Heat star open to Cleveland move

When the Cleveland Browns selected Johnny Manziel with the 22nd overall pick on Thursday night, some optimistic fans in Cleveland may have been hoping that LeBron James would make a dramatic return to the city.

Well it might happen, but not in the way that you think.

LeBron James, who played football in high school was asked how he would like to catch passes from his friend Johnny Manziel as a Cleveland Brown.

James responded:“Yeah, that’s possible. Waiting for the ruling. That could be one of the problems and we’ll see what happens with that.”

Obviously, these comments from James should not be taken seriously at all and the Miami Heat superstar's move to the NFL is a long way off.

However it is fun to think about. The Indianapolis Colts signed a former Miami Hurricanes basketball player this past week and of course former tight end, Tony Gonzalez also played basketball.

So, it is not completely ridiculous to think that hoops stars can't make it on the gridiron. LeBron James would probably make a great red-zone threat at tight end or receiver. A team with James and Manziel on would also be a marketing dream.

Unfortunately, it probably isn't going to happen any time soon.
