Manchester United duo Phil Neville and Chris Woods are still on the payroll at the club despite reports having suggested that they had been sacked, according to The Manchester Evening News.
It had appeared that United chief executive Ed Woodward told the pair that they would be relieved of their duties after the club's final game of the season against Southampton this past weekend.
However, despite their futures with the club remaining uncertain, both Neville and Woods are still employees at The Theatre of Dreams.
Neville played a key role alongside David Moyes throughout the course of the 2013/14 campaign, and it remains to be seen as to whether incoming manager Louis van Gaal decides to keep him on.
Woods could also still be out of the Old Trafford exit door, despite playing a fine role in David de Gea's fine season with the club.
In what proved to be a disastrous campaign for Manchester United, De Gea was the standout player, and was rewarded with the club's Player of the Year award.
