It has been just a week since the epic event known as Extreme Rules, but this week's Raw offered more questions than answers as we steam roll towards Payback.
First off, shockingly it seems Daniel Bryan does have to leave to have neck surgery, but Payback is in less than three weeks, Kane is set to leave after Payback to promote See No Evil 2 so Daniel can't be stripped of the title in favour of Kane...Who would Kane face and presumably drop the title to?
Also the heat between Stephanie and Brie has reached a physical point, surely Brie should know by now not to put her hands on the Authority...Stephanie v Brie in the near future?
John Cena got the win over The Wyatts with the help of the Usos and shockingly he actually had the crowd behind him throughout the match. It seems he had finally got the demon off of his back but then Bray announced what seemed like a challenge for a Last Man Standing Match between the two of them at next months pay-per-view.
The Shield were always going to be out for revenge after they were laid out by Evolution last week, but who know it would be so gratifying? They didn't just take out Evolution, Stephanie called for reinforcements, much like before Extreme Rules but this time The Shield found chairs and also found the upper hand. The hounds of justice were awards their rematch at Payback which ends the stipulation of three singles matches but still begs the question, will Roman return from Chicago?
Triple H threatened that he wont and logic dictates that Evolution will likely win this rematch so will the brute force of The Shield be returning after Payback?
The divas division is also finally heating up! After there was no divas match last week on Raw, there was two this week, it seems Natalya could be turning heel and Alicia apparently quit on the WWE app? The former divas champion walked up to Stephanie backstage and sensationally quit the company, could this be part of a new mean streak for her?
And what about Rusev and Big E? If anyone can stop the Bulgarian Brute it's Big E and it finally seems like this could be a competition worth watching.
So, just over two weeks to Payback and it seems it's already taking shape and with WWE Raw live from the shores of the UK next Monday, who knows what WWE have instore?
