Samir Nasri girlfriend launches X-rated rant after World Cup snub

Published 1 Comments

Anara Atanes - girlfriend of Manchester City star Samir Nasri - did not react well to the player's omission from France's World Cup squad this week as she launched into a foul-mouthed rant on social networking website twitter.

As reported by The Daily Mail, playmaker Nasri - along with club teammate Gael Clichy - was not part of the 23-man Les Bleus squad announced yesterday and British model Atanes was quick to voice her fury at the French national setup and manager Didier Deschamps in a quite shocking emotional blast in support of her other half.

"F**k france and f**k deschamps! What a s**t manager!," Atanes wrote on Tuesday evening.

"Lets just get this straight! Im not mad i get my bf for 2 months.... I just think theres a level of respect to be had!"

Deschamps' decision to leave out Nasri was not a total surprise given that he has largely fallen out of favour in recent times, yet many obviously believed that his stellar form during the latter stages of Manchester City's recent title-winning campaign could easily have merited a return to the international setup.

That wasn't to be, however, and Nasri will sadly not have the opportunity to add to his 41-cap haul in Brazil.

Instead of Nasri, former Chelsea midfielder Deschamps will be relying upon the likes of Mathieu Valbuena, Yohan Cabaye and Paul Pogba to add a spark from midfield this summer.
