We start at the Byron Nelson Championship where the pairings for the first two rounds have been announced.

Martin Kaymer, winner at The Players last week, is again in action and he’ll line-up alongside Brandt Snedeker and Jimmy Walker.

Defending champion Sang-moon Bae will tee off with Jordan Spieth and Harris English. And Elsewhere Matt Kuchar will play his opening round with Gary Woodland and 2011 winner Keegan Bradley.

Little-known Case Cochran will also be in Texas after he qualified for his PGA debut in spectacular fashion.

he 25-year-old, who spends most of his time on the Adams Tour, made a hole-in-one on the fifth extra hole in yesterday’s qualifying and tweeted this picture as evidence of the feat.

One notable absence in Texas will be Patrick Reed after he withdrew yesterday.

Wife Justine is close to giving birth to their first child and after doctors advised she stay at home Reed decided to not travel to the Byron Nelson.

And whilst Reed is awaiting baby number one, Webb Simpson announced via his Twitter page that he and his wife Dowd have welcomed their third child Wyndham Rose Simpson - congratulations from everyone here at Golfing World.
