Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra looks set to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer if he fails to agree a new deal to stay at Old Trafford.

The 32-year-old's future is far from certain as the former Monaco defender has yet to confirm if he is staying or leaving Manchester United.

Evra's Manchester United teammates Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand have already announced they will be leaving the club - unlike the Frenchman.

Reports had suggested that Evra would be joining Vidic at Inter Milan, however the Daily Mail believe the France international is 'more likely' to seal a return to Ligue 1.

Evra may decide to wait until he has spoken to incoming Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal before deciding whether he is going to extend his eight-year stay at the former Premier League champions.

The Red Devils have already made plans to replace Evra by making a £27million move for Southampton's Luke Shaw, however Van Gaal may want to keep an experienced head in the Manchester United dressing room after losing both Vidic and Ferdinand.
