Maurice Edu is a professional footballer with the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer.

The former Stoke City and Rangers midfielder let us into the life of a full-time soccer star with this day in the life of video shot entirely from a Google Glass.

The United States national team star will be setting off to Brazil as part of Jurgen Klinsmann's 23-man squad and will be taking on the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil and Kevin Prince Boateng as the Stars and Stripes take on Portugal, Germany and Ghana in the group of death down in South America in June and July.

Armed with the high-tech specs, Edu takes us through his daily routine, from an unconventional toothpaste then water method of teeth brushing to a training session with the ball and then the weight room.

And after a tough day at the office there's always time for a meal, and as you've guessed it's every soccer player's favourite Mexican, Chipotle.

We are also treated to Edu have a cheeky look at a lady's bum and one of his teammates being freaked out by the video-recording glasses.
