There is the prospect of several exciting matches on tonight’s edition of Impact Wrestling, which airs in America tonight on Spike TV, and again in the UK on Challenge TV this coming Sunday.

All eyes will be on the fallout from last week’s events, when MVP dramatically turned heel, attacking World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young and declaring himself the number one contender for the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view, which takes place on June 15th.

Elsewhere, Willow will take on Magnus and Bram in a handicap match. Last week, Willow and Magnus did battle in a match arranged by TNA newcomer Bram, who attacked Willow with a steel bar after growing impatient with Magnus’ inability to take control of the bout.

Magnus seemed to bare conflicted feelings in relation to his ally’s attack, but rather than undergoing the teased face turn, he simply walked away from Bram’s onslaught and left Willow chained to the ropes.

Mr. Anderson will go one on one with James Storm. Two weeks ago, Storm cost Anderson in his match with Gunner, when he hit Anderson with a Last Call Super Kick that was meant for his long-time rival Gunner. Anderson and Gunner were seen discussing the events of that match last week, and the pair agreed that Anderson should challenge the Cowboy to a match.

Sanada will defend his X Division title in a three-way match also involving Tigre Uno and DJ Zema Ion. Japanese star Sanada has already defended his title successfully against the masked Mexican – Uno – defeating him in a three match series that came to an end at Sacrifice late last month.

DJ Z, who is usually found accompanying the former World Tag Tea Champions, the Bro Mans, has won the title once before, and last underwent an unsuccessful challenge for the belt when he cashed in his Feast or Fired briefcase, only to lose to then champion Austin Aries.

The Menagerie is also expected to star once again, following their TNA debut last week. Stable leader Knux, formerly of the Aces & Eights, was victorious on his return, defeating Kazarian, while fans will be hoping to see more of the newcomers Rebel, Crazzy Steve and the Freak.

There will also be further fallout from events during the week, including Bobby Roode’s suspension, and Dixie Carter’s attack on her own Chief of Staff – Rockstar Spud. Carter is expected to once again be on the run from Bully Ray, who is intent on finally putting the company president through a table.
