The WWE is as popular as it ever has been right now and the video games that are associated with the entertainment sport are one of the reasons for that.
WrestleMania came and went in April and it was a huge success. This coincided with the company's decision to start running a subscription service.
The uptake that Vince McMahon and his organization saw was promising and further shows that the WWE is clearly on the rise.
When a company is at the top it's important they keep ramping up the volume, and the WWE plan to do that with their next instalment of the extremely popular video game series.
However, it seems that the next instalment may be delayed this year. What is normally a fall release date for the game could well be pushed back, according to reports.
It's understood that one of the reasons for this is because the company wants to link its release with one of the WWE's most prized pay-per-view events, WrestleMania.
This may prove an inspired move when the times comes around, but if this does indeed happen, wrestling fans around the globe are sure to be disappointed with a potential delay.
