The Montreal Canadiens overcame the Boston Bruins in Game Seven of their hardfought NHL playoff series Wednesday night, and Habs star PK Subban was clearly excited in the aftermath.

As NBCSN analyst Pierre McGuirre caught up with the 25-year-old defenseman following the 3-1 win, wishing him good luck for the next round, Subban planted a kiss on the reporter's cheek before disappearing of into the tunnel.

Subban was at the center of controversy during the early part of the series after his overtime winner in Game One led to some derogetory racist comments from Boston fans on social media, and was clearly happy to have come away from the intense series on top.

The Montreal Canadiens will face the New York Rangers in their conference final match up in the next round.
