A former Wake Forest running back has accused his college coaches of sabotage after he was not selected during the NFL draft last week.

Josh Harris was thought to be a potential seventh-round draft pick but was not selected during the third day nor picked up in the initial stages of free agency, and he thinks his college coaches are to blame.

Harris took to twitter to explain:

"The interest level of several teams were very high but due to slanderous remakrs and false allegations from WF coaches saying I had locker room issues and a poor work ethic..."

The Wake Forest coaching staff has experienced a great deal of turnover since Harris left with the head coach retiring and his positional coach moving to a different school. However, Harris did later tweet the screenshot of  a text from a coach who denied any bad-mouthing of the player.

Despite not getting picked up in the early stages of free agency, Harris has been invited to tryout for the Dallas Cowboys at their rookie minicamp this week.

Harris will be hoping to put this incident behind him and attempt to carve out an NFL career with the Cowboys.
