Jose Mourinho can't stop Frank Lampard leaving Chelsea this summer, according to The Daily Mail

The Blues boss wants to keep the England international at the club for another season, however it appears that talks between Lampard and the club are threatening to break down.

If reports are to be believed, Lampard - who is currently earning £150,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge - is being offered reduced terms to stay on at the club.

And it appears that the financial package being offered to the Blues veteran is something that is out of Mourinho's hands.

Mourinho will be hoping Chelsea can secure a deal with Lampard, as 'The Special One' is keen for the midfielder to work his way into a coaching role with the club.

Chelsea fans will certainly be hoping the club legend commits his future for another year after captain John Terry already signed a new deal with the club.

Lampard played a key role in Chelsea's season in 2013/14, and is closing in on 650 games for the club.
