It seems as though Chelsea will have the luxury of choosing who they sell David Luiz to this summer, as both Bayern Munich and Barcelona are considering lucrative offers.

Jose Mourinho is willing to offload the player and could allow him to leave for the Bundesliga for Mario Mandzukic plus £15million. However Barca are said to be willing to swap both Alexis Sanchez and Alex Song as part of their proposal, which leaves the Blues with a difficult decision to make.

Manchester United favourites Paul Scholes, Phil Neville and Nicky Butt are becoming increasingly frustrated with the club over the lack of clarification on their futures. The trio had expected to be told yesterday whether or not they would be kept on when Louis van Gaal takes charge of the team, but as of yet it would appear that they remain in the dark and aren’t happy about it.

Meanwhile Arsenal and Tottenham fans will both likely be breathing sighs of relief, as it emerged that Dennis Bergkamp will not be joining Frank de Boer should he take over as manager at White Hart Lane.

Rumours suggested that the ex-Gunners legend could become De Boer’s assistant at Spurs, which had caused some amount of controversy. However it’s said his fear of flying has ruled him out of taking up a role with his old club’s biggest rivals.
