The NBA have continued their global takeover this year. Not only have they hosted a regular season game in the UK for the first time but now their best selling video game NBA 2K15 will include all 25 Euroleague teams for the first time.

NBA 2K14 included a small number of european based clubs such as Barcelona and Real Madrid and received a positive response, enough to consider bringing all 25 franchises into the next edition.

Fansided reported that President of Visual Concepts Greg Thomas said:

The global response to the integration of Euroleague teams into the NBA 2K series last year was fantastic, and a key factor in our decision to include the full complement of 2013-14 Euroleague teams in NBA 2K15."

The 2K sports series of NBA games has been a great success over the past few years including cover athlete LeBron James in the last edition.

Newly crowned MVP, Kevin Durant will be the cover athlete for this addition with some features in the game still to be released.

The release date for NBA 2K15 is scheduled for October 7th.
