AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb are definitely the most famous power couple to have come out of college football in recent years.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback and Miss Alabama USA 2012 are set to get their own reality TV show surrounding their upcoming wedding. And one part of the procession will be a bit different.

Instead of inviting a young cousin or sister to be the flower girl at the event, McCarron and Webb will instead have Starla Chapman, a young cancer survivor, walking down the aisle with them.

From AL.com:

"McCarron, a former St. Paul's high school star in Mobile, had met Starla during a visit to University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital on Christmas Eve 2011.

Starla, the daughter of Korey and DeAndra Chapman of Bay Minette, was diagnosed with leukemia in September of 2011. Starla, an Alabama fan, gave McCarron a yellow wristband when they met."

The yellow wristband hasn't left McCarron's arm since and he won the 2012 BCS National Championship with it on, leading to national recognition for the young girl. You can see an ESPN video about their connection here.

McCarron and Webb got engaged in March and the QB was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals last week.
