Top 5: Shocks of the NBA and NHL play-off seasons so far (1)

Published Add your comment

Play-off season in the NBA and the NHL is always a special time but this year it just seems so much different.

Both the NBA and NHL play-offs have been filled with controversy, surprises and unfortunately, some very sad moments.

There are so many shocking and memorable moments that have happened already, like LeBron James hitting 49 points against the Brooklyn Nets in game four of their conference semi-final.

What about the LA Clippers losing in game five of their semi-final series against the Oklahoma City Thunder in fairly controversial circumstances?

The NBA hasn't been the one hogging all the shocks though, who would have predicted the Montreal Canadiens to run out 4-0 series winners over the Tampa Bay Lightning?

The Western Conference's #2 seed the St Louis Blues, a team who had looked formidable all season going out in the first round to the Chicago Blackhawks?

This year's play-offs have proven to be unpredictable and simply incredible and who knows what we still have to look forward to with the NBA play-offs at the Conference finals stage and the NHL coming close to being down to four teams left in the race for the Stanley cup.

There have been so many memorable moments but here we're going to try and narrow it down to just five.....
