Great scenes as Anaheim Ducks Teemu Selanne ends historic career

Published Add your comment

Anaheim Ducks Winger Teemu Selanne rounded off an incredible 23-year career as the Ducks lost to the LA Kings in game seven of their Stanley Cup play-off series.

The crowd at the Honda Center gave Selanne a standing ovation as did his Ducks team-mates.

Perhaps the biggest tribute came from the opposing Kings players who remained on the ice and banged their sticks on the ice as a form of tribute.

The Kings will now move on to a seven game series against the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
