Former Arsenal captain Tony Adams has urged the current crop of Gunners stars to make their own history and tear down his statue outside the Emirates Stadium. Adams won numerous honours during his esteemed spell with Arsenal, and is desperate for his former club to hit the silverware trail again.

Jose Mourinho has confirmed a second one-off managerial role for the summer, with the Chelsea boss set to coach Porto for Deco’s testimonial against Barcelona. Mourinho has already agreed to manage the Rest of the World team at Soccer Aid next month.
