Manchester United have announced Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic as their first summer signing - despite still being under the caretaker management of Ryan Giggs.
The 17-year-old goalkeeper has agreed terms at Old Trafford after completing a successful trail at the club earlier in the year.
The Serbian Under-17 international goalkeeper will remain at current club FK Vojvodina for the 2014/15 season, before linking up with the Premier League side to test the likes of David de Gea for the number one spot.
Milinkovic came to the attention of United scouts after impressing in the recent UEFA U17 Championship, and will now be handed the chance to emulate his fellow countrymen Nemanja Vidic and Zoran Tosic in having represented the club.
The signing comes before an official announcement has been made over who will replace David Moyes as the next permanent manager at United, with Giggs still currently occupying the caretaker manager role.
Dutchman and current Holland boss Louis van Gaal is the current favourite for the job.
