Detroit Tigers stars wear radical outfits after plane breaks down

Detroit Tigers players are well known for participating in the slightly bizarre, and over the weekend they were at it again.

This time the crazy baseball team wore some pretty special tiger outfits during an unfortunate travelling incident on their way back from a game in Boston Sunday night.

The Tigers managed to defeat the reigning World Series champions 6-2 in their own backyard, but on the way back from the game their plane broke down.

Thankfully they were offered the chance of taking a bus back, and the picture above shows the team sleepy-eyed and full of colour in a shot taken by outfielder Rajai Davis.

It's a little unclear as to how the Tigers will indeed get to Cleveland for tonight's game against the Indians, and hopefully they manage to get there with plenty of time to spare.

Purportedly, the team were stuck over night in Boston and they are expected to be able to make the game in Cleveland Monday.
