Monday Night RAW last week saw the destruction of Daniel Bryan by Kane, but before then Bryan, the current WWE World Heavyweight champion had announced he would be leaving the WWE for an unclear amount of time due to a neck injury.

Bryan won the WWE World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania XXX after overcoming Batista and Randy Orton in the main event.

Since then, Bryan has been the victim in a series of attacks by the Devil's favourite demon Kane.

But Bryan is now leaving the WWE for a few months and it was announced that he will be losing the title, by his or the Authority's doing.

So the question remains, who will be the new champion? And how will it be decided who is to take the belt next?

Well there are always the regular faces in the race, the likes of John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton etc.

So I'm curious, what if the WWE chose a different path? Who could step up?

There are some men who are somewhat disabled by their current situations, I think everyone would welcome Roman Reigns as the new champion but a champion in a faction is not that great an idea.

Not all factions are terrible, some with a clear leader work to facilitate a single solitary champion but the Shield is
