Manchester United trio Nani, Tom Cleverley and Javier Hernandez have doubts lingering over their respective long-term futures at Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.

Newly-appointed Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is expected to make wholesale changes this summer as he is planning to bring in several new faces.

And reports suggest Nani, Cleverley and Hernandez could be the first to leave Manchester United after failing to impress last season.

Van Gaal has reportedly handed Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward a lengthy transfer shortlist as well as the names of the players which he would be happy to sell during the summer transfer window.

The 62-year-old Dutchman is hoping to improve his midfield options by bringing in Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos - which could signal the end of Cleverley's affiliation with Manchester United.

Nani and Hernandez could also be shown the door if Van Gaal is able to land Kroos' fellow Bundesliga stars Marco Reus and Mario Mandzukic - who are also said to be high up on Manchester United's agenda.
