The WWE has showcased some of the finest teams in wrestling history and there could be the reformation of a legendary stable.
In the past we have been treated to some fantastic teams, we've seen The Hart Foundation, Evolution, D-Generation X, the NWO and most recently the likes of The Wyatt Family and The Shield.
But there is one stable that could be making a return to the WWE - under the same name but with new members.
The Nation of Domination name could be appearing on our television screens very soon. Although the original Nation of Domination was formed back in 1996 in the United States Wrestling Association, the group enjoyed their greatest success in the WWE. They took inspiration from the Nation of Islam and the Black Panther Party - hence the continual angry tirades by Ron Simmons.
The most famous incarnation of the heel stable consisted of the leader Ron Simmons, D-Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa and Rocky Maivia, later known as The Rock. Whereas the likes of Mark Henry and Owen Hart have also been involved with the group at some point.
They proved to be a successful heel stable, the 'Nation Salute' itself was something that gained an excessive amount of heat from the fans in arenas all over the USA, and the pro-black theme was a popular topic which they pulled off so well.
And now it seems that we could be seeing a return of The Nation Of Domination. According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the possible new version of the pro-black group would revolve around the super-athlete Rusev and his manager, Lana. Who have recently gained tonnes of heat by referencing the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
Ever since Rusev made his main roster debut, he hasn't been in a solid feud and fans were left wondering whether there would actually be anything there for Rusev to work with, or will he fail by simply squashing superstar after superstar.
But judging by the opponents he has faced and destroyed, it makes sense that his opponents come together to take out this beast. The talk of The Nation Of Domination began after Rusev took out R-Truth, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
This rumour further solidified last week on Monday Night Raw, when the legend 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan was in the ring only to be threatened by Lana and Rusev where former Intercontinental Champion Big E. came to Jim Duggan's rescue.
Xavier Woods also teased something along the same lines on his Twitter account; teasing at the possible Nation Of Domination stable being formed by tweeting a photo of the original group doing their infamous fist gesture together.
With Rusev and Big E. set to clash - it may appear that Rusev will get the better of Big E. - this could prompt the four men to bring their strengths together to take out the brute and his controversial new gimmick.
It could see the experienced R-Truth as the leader whereas Big E. could play the same role The Rock played, allowing him to dominate without being the face of the group, and branch off and have a successful singles career as Big E. hasn't had the best of championship rides since he captured the Intercontinental Championship.
All four men haven't been doing anything relevant as of late, perhaps sticking them together to make the older audience reminiscence of the older Nation of Domination days will get them more attention.
