Arsenal are planning a £10million bid for James Milner this summer, according to the Metro.
The Gunners are looking to capitalise on their FA Cup win and kick-start their spending by signing the England international, who is keen to leave the Etihad this summer.
Milner is becoming frustrated by a lack of playing time for City, making most of his appearances of the bench for the club this season.
With City looking to strengthen their title winning squad further this summer, a move away from the Etihad for Milner could become a real possibility.
Despite breaking the financial fair play rules last season and already being slapped with a huge £48million fine, City still want to add to their squad during pre-season, so could look to balance things out by selling players like Milner, who don’t see much first team action.
All the players that look likely to leave are all English, as Milner could be joined by defensive pair Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott, the problem with this being that it would affect their UK-based players registration.
Milner is apparently ‘desperate’ to leave the club and has already reportedly handed in a transfer request. Arsenal are just one of the Premier League clubs looking to secure his services, with Liverpool, Everton and Tottenham also apparently interested.
