The penultimate Raw before Payback pulled no punches as more matches were made and one match stipulation was changed.
Now Evolution v The Shield will be a No Holds Barred Elimination Match which opens the door for the heel locker room to involve themselves again and could potentially be a 3 on one handicap match either way.
This week The Shield retained the momentum from last weeks as Evolution tried to take out Seth during his match with Batista but the other two members of The Hounds of Justice were on hand to even the odds and end Evolution packing.
Not only that but Bray Wyatt seemed to have a lot of followers in England last night as they sang "he's got the whole world in his hands" with him. Bray was ambushed at the beginning of the night and hit with the AA by John Cena but later in the night after John's match with Luke Harper the whole Wyatt Family attacked Cena whilst Luke counted to ten implying Bray will win the Last man Standing match.
Whilst these are the two matches already announced, there were build ups to more matches as RVD won the beat the clock challenge in order to face Bad News Barrett at Payback.
Barrett attacked RVD after it was announced and ensured the people of the UK that he wont be losing his title next Sunday.
As well as this, hometown Divas Champion Paige lost her first match since she became Champion to Alicia Fox who has been on a vicious streak as of late and dominated the entire match last night, seemingly setting up a divas title match fro herself at Payback.
The crowd was dead when Alicia finally conquered Paige, stunned that she had finally lost her own winning streak on her own turf.
Since his arrival in WWE Adam Rose has set his sights on Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter, finally last night the rivalry got physical with Rose getting the better of the exchanges and it seems he and Swagger will be facing off at next months pay-per-view as well.
The big news to come out of last night is that Daniel Bryan should be coming to next week's Raw just a week after having neck surgery and should surrender his WWE title. Will he do what's best for business? And how will WWE build up a WWE title match days before the event? Payback is just 13 days away and the build up is set to reach it's climax next week.
