GiveMeSport US Report: NBA Finals, Draft Lottery and SuperBowl 52

Published Add your comment

Today's headlines in US Sport for Wednesday 21st May.

We start off in the NBA, where the Cleveland Cavaliers managed to get their 3rd number one draft pick in 4 years last night. The Cavs had just a 1.7% chance in the lottery but their luck just continues.

They’ll be hoping to get a player who’s more Kyrie Irving than Anthony Bennett this time however.

Staying in the NBA, it’s over to the playoffs where the Miami Heat levelled the Eastern Conference Finals last night.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade really turned it on in the second half as the Indiana Pacers struggled in front of their own fans.

And finally to the NFL where the destination of SuperBowl 52 has been decided. The Minnesota Vikings have claimed the 2018 event, beating out Indianapolis and New Orleans to the honour, which will be staged in Minneapolis.
