Arsenal are currently favourites to sign Milan's Mario Balotelli, according to the Daily Star.
The former Manchester City striker has angered Milan bosses with his eccentric antics, who would look to sell him for £20-25m.
Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on Balotelli, who could solve Arsenal's striker problems.
Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is not happy with Balotelli's playing style, despite him having scored 26 times in 42 games for Milan.
Balotelli would bolster Arsenal's front line, which is overly dependent on striker Olivier Giroud at the moment.
Giroud has only scored 16 times this season, and with the injuries of Lukas Podolski and Kim Kallstrom this season the inexperienced Yaya Sanogo was the only alternative to Giroud.
The deal could make sense for both sides, as Arsenal will need to strengthen their squad depth if they want to have any chance of winning the Premier League next season.
