Luke Shaw's transfer to Manchester United is moving closer and closer after it was revealed that the left-back is house hunting in Manchester.
Shaw has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for the majority of the season, and has reportedly finally decided that he will be leaving Southampton, leaving the two clubs finalising what is looks to be a £27million fee.
The transfer will reportedly be completed over the next few days, with everyone associated with Shaw now happy with the current deal. Shaw's family had worries about him moving from the area in Southampton but are now joining him in looking for a new address in Chesire.
A source close to the family said: "Luke is still only 18 and his family want everything to be right for him. Where he lives and how he adjusts to a new city is a big thing for them - but now they are convinced about the move."
Wherever Shaw decided to go he would surely bag a massive contract, but his family want him to feel at home in his new surroundings.
Both the United deal and Shaw’s new house should be sorted within the next week, with Shaw’s agents now making the final touches. The move will make him Louis van Gaal’s first official signing for United
