Anthony Pettis was scheduled to meet UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo in August 2013 at UFC 163, however a foot injury forced Pettis out the bout.

Since then 'Showtime' has captured the UFC Lightweight Title from Benson Henderson. Nonetheless, he is still interested with the fight against Aldo and has campaigned for the fight at Lightweight ever since.

After months of tension between the two fighters, it seems they have finally fought it out... in the virtual world.

The new UFC video game produced by EA Sports' first gameplay footage is a fight between the pair. If the two ever meet in real life and simulate half the fight in the trailer, it would be a mouth watering fight.

The new UFC game will be released on June 17th on PS4 and Xbox 1. This will be the first game that EA have produced for the UFC, after previously making EA Sports: MMA in 2010 that didn't feature any UFC fighters except Randy Couture.

Whilst developing the game, EA have put their superb boxing game 'Fight Night' on hold. This highlights how important the UFC game is to the company and how fast the company and the sport of MMA has grown.

Previous to EA, the 'UFC Undisputed' games had been produced by THQ, with the ost recent version giving gamers the chance to fight in the Octagon and the ring of PRIDE.

The new game is set to feature 'The Ultimate Fighter' on career mode, were you can fight your way into the UFC from the famous house. Further, Martial Arts legend Bruce Lee will too be on the game.
