Teenager Angel Gomes has signed for Manchester United after impressing in trials with the club's under 17 squad.
As reported by ABola, the youngster, who is the son of Gil Gomes - a former Portuguese U-20 World Cup winner - will now be hoping to develop through the youth ranks at Old Trafford.
At just 13-years-old, Gomes will be part of Manchester United's U-15 side for next season, as he looks to continue in his favoured position as a striker.
A picture of Gomes' formal contract signing with the club was posted by his father on Facebook, and now the Portuguese youngster will be focussing on improving at the Premier League giants over the coming years.
Manchester United are a club well known for progressing youth, and Gomes will be hoping to take a similar route to that of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Co.
Louis van Gaal recently signed a three year deal to take over as Manchester United boss, so it will take something special for Gomes to make a first team appearance whilst the Dutchman is in charge of the club.
Manchester United fans will certainly be hoping Van Gaal brings through youth, as the Red Devils look to secure a successful future.
