Sunderland striker would die early to win World Cup

Published Add your comment

Jozy Altidore is headed down to Brazil with the United States National Team and he wants to win the World Cup, badly.

In fact, the Sunderland striker would go as far as to cut his life short in order to get his hands on the famous trophy.

Altidore appeared on Grantland earlier today and took part in their game called "Tough Calls" which is essentially their YouTube version of Would You Rather.

Host Chris Ryan asked the striker if he would be willing to die ten years early if it meant that Altidore could win the tournament and there was no doubt in his mind. Of course he'd do it.

The 24-year old will be taking part in his second World Cup in Brazil, having led the line for the USMNT down in South Africa, where they scraped out of the group stage thanks to late Landon Donovan heroics.
