Rumors linking Jon Bon Jovi to the ownership of NFL team the Buffalo Bills have been circulating for months now.
With the franchise looking for new ownership following the sad passing of Ralph Wilson earlier this year, the Canadian rock star is believed to be interested.
However rumors suggesting Bon Jovi plans to move the Bills to nearby Toronto across the border have understandably not gone down well with locals.
So much so in fact that a group of angry Bills fans have clubbed together to form the '12th man thunder' group and they have been quick to urge Buffalo locals to fight back against the aging musician.
The group, whose official website has more than 64,000 signatures at the present time, have enlisted a number of local Buffalo businesses to ban the playing of Bon Jovi songs as a sign of defiance against the proposed takeover.
It definitely looks like Bon Jovi is facing a fight should he harbor real hopes of first buying, and then moving, the NFL franchise.
And if you are a fan of his music and happen to be in the Buffalo area you might want to plan a vacation in the near future.
